About us
Who We Are
Wild Isards is a part of Ski, Bike and Hike Hospitality. A small family run business established in 2015, located in Arinsal, Andorra. This year we have decided to expand and create Wild Isards.
Wild Isards is a platform that creates and provides unique camps and programs for weekends, holidays and other special occasions. Our camps are run in the English language and are suitable for all levels of speakers, whether it’s a native speaker or someone looking to learn and improve their English. Our activities will encourage children to develop their level of English and their communication skills, explore their creativity, learn new skills and investigate nature. All while making memories and new friends.

We will be creating new camps all the time; with new themes, new adventures and new experiences. Be sure to look out for updates here or on our social media.
Who’s in Charge
Hello there! My name is Helen and I’m one of the creators and developers of Wild Isards. I’m glad you popped in to check us out.

So a little bit about me: I’m a mum, a girlfriend and an educator. I created Wild Isards to be able to share my passion for some of my favorite things: the outdoors and creative activities.

I was born and grew up in Wales, UK
I was an international netball player that represented Wales in both youth and senior squads
I studied a bachelor of science. Honors Degree in Sport and Physical Education
I’m Canadian qualified as a level 3 ski instructor. I’ve taught in Andorra and Australia
I have been teaching and coaching since 1998, about 20 years
I have taught English, Sports Science and courses to Public Services students, in schools here in Andorra and in Wales
I have taught all ages from 6 months through to 18 years old
I love being creative and making things
I’m obsessed with collecting crafty bits
I love listening to live music

Was born and raised in the USA by french parents
Studied a bachelor of arts in cultural anthropology with a focus on environmental policy
Originally trained and qualified as a ski instructor in New Zealand in 2010
Moved to Andorra in 2010
Has been teaching and coaching children for about 10 years
A huge fan of ice hockey
Travelled to every continent except Antarctica
A bit of a perfectionist when it comes to English grammar
Can't resist a good slice of homemade banana bread
Also loves listening to live music

Studied law and economics for three years before realizing what she really wanted was working with kids
Loves outdoor sports, especially hiking and climbing
Worked as an au pair in England, having lived there for about a year
Doesn't really like movies; she'd rather watch TV shows
Addicted to sugar and likes to cook all sorts of chocolate cakes
Played tennis for more than 10 years
Has a master's degree in "Science of Education"
She's a vegetarian
Has a cute orange cat called Philippon
Started working with kids during a summer camp in 2009
Tell Me More
Being in Andorra we have the greatest of opportunities to explore the mountains and nature. During the winter we will look at introducing your child to skiing. We will have regular skiing opportunities as we work closely with Arinsal Ski School.
All our activities are tested thoroughly by Jasper — our 7 year old chief tester, who gives a very honest and final verdict. The activities will be age appropriate and there will always be something for everyone.
To ensure we can offer you a large variety of activities and the best service, we will be working closely with local companies to provide the perfect package.
